When performing FCE’s (Functional Capacity Evaluation), the evaluator relies on statistical analysis of carefully collected objective data when rendering a professional recommendation. Accurate identification of behavioral factors, such as symptom magnification, is a critical step in determining the vocational potential of the injured worker. The testing format used by Rehab Plus meets or exceeds all of the requirements set forth by the Texas State Workers’ Compensation Board, and has held up well when submitted as evidence during litigation.
